Young Lives vs Cancer appoints new Director of Income Generation

Dominique Davis has been appointed as the new Director of Income Generation at Young Lives vs Cancer.

Young Lives vs Cancer is the only charity in the UK with specialist social workers dedicated to providing tailored support to children and young people with cancer, and their families.

Dominique has an extensive background in the charity sector, joining the charity from Teach First where she was Director of Fundraising. She was also UK National Director for Right to Play and Spent 10 years at Save the Children where she led their Humanitarian Fundraising Team.

Chief Executive, Rachel Kirby-Rider said: “We’re excited to welcome Dominique, who brings fantastic fundraising knowledge and expertise as well as great energy and leadership.”

Dominique will take up her new role at the end of January. She said “I’m thrilled to be joining Young Lives vs Cancer. Thousands of young people are affected by cancer every year and its Young Lives vs Cancer’s holistic approach to supporting these children and their families that really inspires me. As the need for cancer support continues to grow, so does the need to generate the financial and non-financial support so we can continue to deliver our promise to support young cancer patients. The Income Generation Team at Young Lives vs Cancer have gone from strength-to-strength, and I can’t wait to join them and be part of a strong, nurturing and collaborative organisation.”
